Traditional guest books are hoo-hum, definitely not something the unique bride would be drawn to. Over the years I have seen some interesting and fun guest book alternatives but this is my favorite — a calendar.

How the Calendar Guest Book Works

Basically, you choose a calendar style that will work best for you — whether it’s a month-at-a-glance style, spiral bound or even a cute daily calendar you plan to keep on your desk. You make up a cute sign, framed or on a plate easel for your guest book table that says something like this:

Guests then sign the box on the date of their birth. You will now have a wonderful calendar full of all the birthdays of your important friends and family as well as a calendar from the year you were married with signatures of your guests. I just love items that do double duty!

Even better, find one that reflects a hobby, passion or vocation for you or your soon to be spouse. You can have a lot of fun with this unique idea!
