DIY-Create-Unique-Wedding-PEvery bride wants her own wedding to be unique, so why not include your wedding planner or organizer? Create your own planner easily with these tips and ideas. Keep everything together in your own unique and personalized binder.

DIY Unique Custom Binders

Start with the binder that you will keep all of your checklists, samples, pictures and ideas in. You will want to have a place right away to start putting everything together.

I recommend a standard sized binder for you. As a DIY planner, you want everything to be easy to put together and work with. 3-hole punches are readily available and not expensive. You will be adding in plenty of printed pages that are the typical 8 1/2 x 11 inch size. You can easily add in envelopes for those extras like business cards, fabric swatches and brochures.

Print Your Own Wedding Planning Checklists

You can create your own checklists with the lists available from the sites below. Some even have printable versions all ready for you. If some of the tips these sites offer you make sense to you, then print them out as well and add them to your binder.

Create Your Wedding Planner the Way You Like to Organize

One of the best parts about creating your own planner is that you can tailor it just to the way you like to organize things. I’m a huge proponent of customizing your organizing to suit your own needs. That means if you prefer to work from a calendar instead of a list, you can do that with your own planner.

There are ready-made organizers that you can buy. And they are good, but they are designed for every-bride, not for you. Your own unique wedding planner will have everything you need, arranged just the way you like it and without lots of extras that you might not want.

Gift Idea for the Newly-Engaged Bride

Many of us look for something special to give to our daughters, future daughters-in-law, or best friends right after they announce their engagement. A beautiful wedding planner binder with a few starter pages is a great idea.

Starter pages or items to include can be several envelopes, a printed checklist, a calendar (making sure there is plenty of writing room for her), a 3-hole punch, a clear plastic pouch that can hold pens, paperclips, even sticky notes, and a set of stick on labels so that she can identify special items.

If you are creative, like a scrapbooker, include several sets of wedding designed stickers for her to decorate the pages. Even use decorative printer paper and give her lots of extra paper to print out her own pages.

Find More Choices or Create Your Own

The very talented artists at Zazzle have a designed a huge selection of bridal or wedding organizer binders. You can choose from any of them, or create your own. It’s easy to do if you have a creative side yourself. Upload your own image, then just add in the text you want. Arrange everything all you want before you order.
