Blue-and-Silver-Winter-WeddPlanning a winter wedding can still mean a unique wedding, even with the traditional colors of blue and silver. Snowflakes aren’t necessary. There are other beautiful options with the color scheme of winter that will make your wedding completely your own.

Swirls and Lace for Winter Weddings

Keeping with a traditional winter color scheme for your wedding doesn’t mean you have to keep with the traditional looks. These invitations show you some examples of using more unique ideas like swirls, even lacy effects to still use blue and silver for your color scheme.

Different Shades of Blue for Wedding Colors

Royal blue with silver makes a great color combination, but other shades of blue can make your wedding completely unique in winter. Navy blue is a stunning color with silver and one that isn’t seen often with winter weddings. Even if snowflakes are what you want to use for your winter wedding, try them with different shades of blue.

Use a Full Line of Blue and Silver Wedding Stationery

Once you have decided on your shade of blue and the design you like for your wedding theme, coordinate your whole look with a full line of wedding stationery. Start with your Save-the-Date cards or magnets, then your invitations along with the RSVP cards. You can even match your menu cards and thank you notes.

Continue your theme and color scheme with matching stickers that can be used for placing on table signs, placecards, even favor bags. Choose return address labels and even postage stamps in your chosen design to make a complete look for your wedding theme.

Coordinating Blue and Silver for Your Unique Wedding

When my youngest daughter was married, blue and silver were her colors. Her wedding dress was silver, and absolutely the more gorgeous wedding dress I have ever seen. She carried a bouquet of bluebells that was not only beautiful but quite unique. Bluebells tied with silver ribbons were an accent that she used throughout every bit of wedding decor from the table centerpieces to the thank you cards.

Like my daughter, when you pick colors and accents that you love, your can easily create the kind of unique and beautiful wedding that will be all your own.
